The TREADS Instrument Platform can fly your new component much more quickly than waiting for a dedicated, multi-million dollar mission opportunity. TREADS can fly most instruments between 1kg and 15 kg. We have standard data interfaces (1553, RS422, SpaceWire, cPCI backplane, etc) that will connect your technology to our flight computer. Electrical interfaces, communication, thermal control and intelligent on-board monitoring are all provided. With one contract and one fixed price, we will integrate your system, fly it on the next available launch, dedicate an interface board to run the tests just as you set them up, and provide you with TBD months of ground operations. Obviously, a fraction of the design/integration/launch/support costs of a dedicated satellite!
